Dr. Daniel Benson

Dr Benson received his undergraduate dental degree from Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary in 2006. After graduation Daniel completed a 3-year full-time residency in Operative Dentistry and Prosthodontics. Daniel’s thirst for knowledge led him to a Master of Science(M.Sc.) degree in Implantology and Dental Surgery at the International Medical College, University of Muenster in Germany. He is a registered dentist in the UK, Ireland, and Hungary.

As a private practice associate and visiting implant surgeon his practice is limited to surgical and restorative implant treatments, cosmetic surgical and aesthetic restorative procedures.

Daniel first moved to Edinburgh in 2009. Since 2012 he is only practicing in private practices.

His eye for details and passion for excellence in dentistry is well known amongst his colleagues and he regularly treat patients needing advanced rehabilitation on referral basis.

Daniel brings a strong sense of purpose and responsibility including a voice as a mentor through leading example. Daniel believes in fairness, diversity and hard work. As a team player he likes to help bringing work colleagues closer together through his workshops and and courses. He is a recognized speaker on the topics of dental implantology, bone and soft tissue management and dental photography.

Daniel’s passion is to work with his patients closely to give back their smile and through that improve quality of their lives.

So often we see life-changing transformations when patients self-esteem, confidence and overall well-being improves sometimes overnight. In a relatively short timeframe. My favourite part is the moment when we take our final photos with the patients. That really makes our day!”

Apart from work his young family keeping him busy to achieve a great work-life balance. Daniel likes espresso with no sugar. He likes outdoor activities like cycling, and sea kayaking. His favourite animals are dogs and polar bears.

Dr. Gregor McIntosh

Gregor qualified from the University of Dundee in 2011. Shortly after this he gained membership to the Royal college of surgeons in Edinburgh.

Gregor is committed to furthering his knowledge and has undergone a number of post graduate courses to ensure he can provide his patients with the smile they desire. He is able to provide short term orthodontic solutions and is certified to provide Inman aligners, Clear aligners and Cfast.

Gregor has a special interest in implant dentistry. He is currently undergoing further training to carry out implant placements and is working towards gaining a diploma in the area.

Outside dentistry, he enjoys all sports including rugby, golf and football. He also likes spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Arvind Sharma

Dr. Arvind Sharma qualified in 1996 from the University of Dundee. Arvind has completed a Master’s degree in Endodontology at the University of Central Lancashire, passing with Merit and has gained membership through examination of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2012 and Glasgow in 2016.

Having worked many years in general practice he has now limited his work to Endodontics providing his services in Edinburgh and Glasgow. Using contemporary equipment, (including a microscope), materials and techniques.

Arvind accepts referrals for all aspects of non-surgical endodontic treatments from first primary treatments to re-treatments and includes management of cases with complex anatomy, sclerosis, open apices, perforation repair and removal/retrieval of fractured posts and separated instruments.

Arvind is committed to education, providing post-graduate lectures and training for NHS Education for Scotland. He is an active member of the British Endodontic Society, The Royal Odonto-Chirurgical Society of Scotland and is a Certified Dentsply Maillefer Trainer.

In addition to his clinical role within the clinic, Dr Sharma will also provide a range of courses for general dental practitioners wishing to enhance their endodontic knowledge and skill.

Rob qualified as a dental technician in 1997 from Edinburgh's Telford College. He has worked in a mixture of the private and public sector spending 10 years working in the NHS including Glasgow Dental Hospital and Edinburgh's Dental Institute before founding New Life Teeth and Scottish Denture Clinic.

In February 2009 Rob returned to study a diploma in Clinical Dental Technology which was the first CDT course to be run in the UK, qualifying through the Royal College of Surgeons in December 2009.

Rob is an elected council member of the Dental Technologist’s Association and sits on the council for Dental Care Professionals at the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.

In his spare time Rob spends time with his young family and two Spaniels. Rob also enjoys running and cycling.

Rosa Garcia

Rosa finished her HND in 2006 in Edinburgh's Telford College. After qualifying with excellent results, she was offered a position at the college itself. She then completed a Vocational Training for Dental Technicians, where she had the opportunity to work alongside patients in Glasgow Dental Hospital.

Following Rosa's development as Dental Technician she worked for Private Dental Laboratory, strengthening her learning in all disciplines in the field. Motivated by her willingness to be trained in the construction of Cosmetics dentures, Rosa started working for a private practice in Fife where she soon stood out for her attention to detail and neat work. In 2013 she moved on to work with Rob and his team of technicians.

Rosa enjoys travelling, in particular going back to see her family in Spain.

Dr. Paul Devine

Paul qualified with commendation from the University of Dundee in 2011. He then completed a 2 year postgraduate training which exposed him to a variety of different settings including restorative and paediatric dentistry, oral and maxillofacial surgery, special needs and anxiety management. During this time, he also gained membership to the Royal College of surgeons in Edinburgh.

Paul’s main interest lies in the field of implant dentistry. He has completed postgraduate training and is able to place and restore dental implants to replace missing teeth. He is currently a member of the Association of Dental Implantology, International Team for Implantology and holds a Diploma in Dental Implants from the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons in London.

Paul travels regularly to attend courses to pursue his passion for postgraduate learning and is pleased to be able to offer these advanced implant and restorative treatments to his patients. He accepts referrals from other dentists and has been involved in dental implant mentoring. In addition to this, Paul has a close relationship with some of the best technicians in Europe and strives to deliver the most aesthetic and long lasting outcome for every case.

Outside of work, Paul has a passion for fitness and travel. He trains regularly in CrossFit and is also interested in powerlifting and Olympic weightlifting.

John graduated from Queens University of Belfast, with a distinction in the practice of dentistry in 2001. John then moved to Edinburgh to continue his career and has worked in the Edinburgh area since 2001. Over the years John has pursued an intensive post graduate education completing and passing the required examinations and coursework to become a member of the joint dental faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, as well as a member of the faculty of dental surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

John's main area of interest is implant dentistry and he has completed the Royal College of Surgeons of England implant diploma course; this allows John to provide patients with more complex predictable dental implant treatment. Further to this John completed his fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and is regularly involved with the training and education with teaching of other dentists.

John particularly enjoys providing immediate full arch implants with same day teeth. Dr Clydesdale works closely with other colleagues and he referrals from a number of dentists from Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife.

Radiography qualification in 2016 with the BDA, intravenous cannulation techniques in 2018 as well as completing her qualification in impression taking in 2019. Debbie has 6 years’ experience with complex implant cases, sedation and other areas of specialist dentistry. She thoroughly enjoys Oral Surgery aspect of Dentistry.

Debbie has experience working in NHS/Private/specialist dentistry.

Duncan Robertson

He has over 15 years of experience in the dental industry working in public & private sectors and has also worked as a lecturer at Edinburgh’s Telford College delivering the dental technology course to all levels.

Duncan has a keen interest in aesthetics and porcelain work and continually looks to strengthen his knowledge and skills. He is always looking to learn new techniques and likes to keep up with the latest systems and materials.

Kamila Sipowska

Kamila is qualified and registered with GDC as a Dental Technician after completing her HNC in 2012.

In 2017, she successfully completed a Straumann Bespoke Overdenture course that allowed her to become a Straumann Platinum Dental Technician.

Her aim is to produce work of the highest standard and to build up a strong knowledge in the digital dental field. She also has a particular interest in implant retained hybrids bars and overdentures.

She has plenty of experience in the dental field due to her maturity but strives to always be well informed by attending many Dental course.

She continues to work because she loves what she does.

Dr Stuart Lutton

Stuart qualified from Sheffield University in 2000 and has practised in Edinburgh and Belfast since then.

Stuart has a particular focus on dental implants and specifically the ground-breaking full arch dental implant procedure (often referred to as ‘All on 4’ or ‘Same Day Teeth’). He was awarded a Masters degree in Implantology in 2012 under the personal tutelage of Professor Edward Lynch - one of the most highly respected names in UK dentistry and head of dentistry at the University of Warwick.

In 2016 Stuart opened a new practice in Belfast. His practice is limited to implant dentistry and he now splits his time between the state-of-the-art clinics in Edinburgh and Belfast.

Stuart is a member of the UK ADI Association of Dental Implantology; he has a close professional link with the leading national and international implant surgeons. Away from the practice, Stuart is married to Yasmin and has a young family that keeps him busy outside work.

Dr. Mark Tarpey

Mark qualified from Queens University Belfast in 2005, where he was awarded the John Malone medal for best performance in Conservative Dentistry in his final year exams.

Since then, he has worked in the Belfast area providing general dental care, but with a special interest in implant dentistry.

Mark studied throughout the UK and Europe to further his knowledge and skills in the field of implant dentistry and aims to incorporate the most up-to-date techniques and technologies to ensure his patients are provided with the best possible care.

Mark has been registered and in good standing with the GDC since 2005 and is a member of the UK Association of Dental Implantology. He joined the New Life Teeth team in March 2017 and is delighted to be able to provide implant-based solutions for patients.

Most of his spare time is spent with family. Mark is married to Fiona, and they have two children, Ana and Ronan.

As a member of the Royal Lifesaving Society, Mark has represented Northern Ireland at the Commonwealth Lifesaving Games in 2006. He enjoys playing football and golf, and in the last few years has developed an interest in growing his own fruit and vegetables.

Dr Tom Murphy

Dr Tom Murphy graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 2018. He has worked as a general dentist in Liverpool, as well as pursuing extensive postgraduate training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Aintree Hospital Liverpool, and more locally the Ulster Hospital and Altnagelvin Hospital. Dr Murphy is skilled in managing dental abscesses, dento-alveolar and facial trauma, and is experienced in oral medicine and oral surgery. Whilst working in Altnagelvin Hospital Dr Murphy also worked within the Orthodontic Department, working closely with the Consultant Orthodontist, gaining experience in diagnosing orthodontic malocclusions and treatment planning their care. These additional skills have allowed Tom to become a confident Invisalign provider.

Dr Murphy strives to deliver the highest standards in both aesthetic and surgical dentistry and is currently working towards his Master’s in Dental Implantology. On completion of this he will have one of the most prestigious qualifications available in the field of dental implantology.

Dr Murphy is very passionate about delivering both high quality cosmetic dentistry as well as minimally invasive dentistry. He aims to provide this in all aspects of his care – from simple fillings to smile transformations.

Cathy qualified with distinction in 1999, from Queens University Belfast. She then spent a decade working in private general dental practice in Dorset, England where she was able to build an impressive skill-set portfolio as well as integrate new dental technologies into her repertoire. She returned to Northern Ireland in 2009 to continue delivering high quality dental care closer to home.

Cathy’s particular interests in dentistry are periodontal therapy (the management of gum disease), minimally invasive dentistry (bleaching and bonding) and ICON™️ treatment (white spot treatment to mask unsightly blemishes on teeth). In 2018 she completed the Certificate in Sports Dentistry course run by the Eastman Dental Institute, London and offers her professional services to sports players throughout the Province.

Cathy is pleased offer our patients relaxed and empathetic treatment, and is principally involved in the maintenance of excellent gum health for our implant patients, via New Life Teeth’s implant warranty programme.

She has a daughter in further education, and an impressive array of pedigree cats. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, catching up with friends and breeding Maine Coon cats.

Dr Murphy is skilled in managing dental abscesses, dento-alveolar and facial trauma, and is experienced in oral medicine and oral surgery. Whilst working in Altnagelvin Hospital Dr Murphy also worked within the Orthodontic Department, working closely with the Consultant Orthodontist, gaining experience in diagnosing orthodontic malocclusions and treatment planning their care. These additional skills have allowed Tom to become a confident Invisalign provider.

Dr Murphy strives to deliver the highest standards in both aesthetic and surgical dentistry and is currently working towards his Master’s in Dental Implantology. On completion of this he will have one of the most prestigious qualifications available in the field of dental implantology.

Lee graduated from Dundee University in 2017. Lee worked as a general dentist in both Dundee and Glasgow before returning to work in NI and the Republic of Ireland. He has a special interest in restorative and implant dentistry. Lee is currently completing a Masters in Dental Implantology with the Institute of Clinical Excellence in Manchester. He provides a range of dental treatments. He also prides himself on his passion to deliver excellent patient care and helping nervous patients.

Lee likes to discuss all options of treatment with his patients prior to embarking on any course of treatment. Lee has completed multiple courses to ensure he has an up-to-date approach to dentistry. He is Invisalign Go qualified and has training in Dental Sedation.

Dr. Arvind Sharma

Dr. Arvind Sharma qualified in 1996 from the University of Dundee. Arvind has completed a Master’s degree in Endodontology at the University of Central Lancashire, passing with Merit and has gained membership through examination of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2012 and Glasgow in 2016.

Having worked many years in general practice he has now limited his work to Endodontics providing his services in Edinburgh and Glasgow. Using contemporary equipment, (including a microscope), materials and techniques.

Arvind accepts referrals for all aspects of non-surgical endodontic treatments from first primary treatments to re-treatments and includes management of cases with complex anatomy, sclerosis, open apices, perforation repair and removal/retrieval of fractured posts and separated instruments.

Arvind is committed to education, providing post-graduate lectures and training for NHS Education for Scotland. He is an active member of the British Endodontic Society, The Royal Odonto-Chirurgical Society of Scotland and is a Certified Dentsply Maillefer Trainer.

In addition to his clinical role within the clinic, Dr Sharma will also provide a range of courses for general dental practitioners wishing to enhance their endodontic knowledge and skill.

Rob qualified as a dental technician in 1997 from Edinburgh's Telford College. He has worked in a mixture of the private and public sector spending 10 years working in the NHS including Glasgow Dental Hospital and Edinburgh's Dental Institute before founding New Life Teeth and Scottish Denture Clinic.

In February 2009 Rob returned to study a diploma in Clinical Dental Technology which was the first CDT course to be run in the UK, qualifying through the Royal College of Surgeons in December 2009.

Rob is an elected council member of the Dental Technologist’s Association and sits on the council for Dental Care Professionals at the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.

In his spare time Rob spends time with his young family and two Spaniels. Rob also enjoys running and cycling.

Rosa finished her HND in 2006 in Edinburgh's Telford College. After qualifying with excellent results, she was offered a position at the college itself. She then completed a Vocational Training for Dental Technicians, where she had the opportunity to work alongside patients in Glasgow Dental Hospital.

Following Rosa's development as Dental Technician she worked for Private Dental Laboratory, strengthening her learning in all disciplines in the field. Motivated by her willingness to be trained in the construction of Cosmetics dentures, Rosa started working for a private practice in Fife where she soon stood out for her attention to detail and neat work. In 2013 she moved on to work with Rob and his team of technicians.

Rosa enjoys travelling, in particular going back to see her family in Spain.

During this time, he also gained membership to the Royal College of surgeons in Edinburgh.

Paul’s main interest lies in the field of implant dentistry. He has completed postgraduate training and is able to place and restore dental implants to replace missing teeth. He is currently a member of the Association of Dental Implantology, International Team for Implantology and holds a Diploma in Dental Implants from the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons in London.

Paul travels regularly to attend courses to pursue his passion for postgraduate learning and is pleased to be able to offer these advanced implant and restorative treatments to his patients. He accepts referrals from other dentists and has been involved in dental implant mentoring. In addition to this, Paul has a close relationship with some of the best technicians in Europe and strives to deliver the most aesthetic and long lasting outcome for every case.

Outside of work, Paul has a passion for fitness and travel. He trains regularly in CrossFit and is also interested in powerlifting and Olympic weightlifting.

John graduated from Queens University of Belfast, with a distinction in the practice of dentistry in 2001. Over the years John has pursued an intensive post graduate education completing and passing the required examinations and coursework to become a member of the joint dental faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, as well as a member of the faculty of dental surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

John's main area of interest is implant dentistry and he has completed the Royal College of Surgeons of England implant diploma course; this allows John to provide patients with more complex predictable dental implant treatment. Further to this John completed his fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and is regularly involved with the training and education with teaching of other dentists.

John particularly enjoys providing immediate full arch implants with same day teeth. Dr Clydesdale works closely with other colleagues and he referrals from a number of dentists from Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife.
